Training for Trainers
The programmes that have been created by Identities have been developed from the needs of women today, which makes them relevant, engaging and progressive.
If you are passionate about the development of yourself and others, contact us about joining our Training programme.
Stage 1 - Self Evaluation/Induction/Needs Assessment creating relevant and consistent support, not a one size fits all package
The self evaluation will start you on your teaching journey and will allow us to determine the level and length of support required to get you where you need to be.
Stage 2 - Training Qualification
Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Sector (PTLLS, City & Guilds) - At the end of this year all Training deliverers, i.e. those that deliver learning funded by the Learning Skills Council now the Skills Funding Agency will need to have a minimum qualification of the 7303 (PTLLS level 3).
Identities can offer PTLLS training free of charge in August / September 2010. Contact us for more details.
Stage 3 - Coaching Qualification
Identities can offer you our own Coaching Programme for Trainers to provide you with the skills and develop the qualities you need to coach others.
Stage 4 - Transferring Ethos, Uniqueness of Service and Core Values
In addition to the learning we also require a commitment to shadow trainers already delivering our programmes, which will include guided and observed delivery before you can deliver programmes yourself.
The length of this process is dependent on your previous experience and development. For instance, trainers with previous experience and a high level of confidence in delivery would need less shadow hours than a trainee who was new to training and coaching.
Stage 5 - Self Employment
If you are not already, Identities will support you to become self employed. We can support you to promote yourself as a trainer, which will enable you to work for other organisations and build up your training portfolio should you wish to. You will also have a direct link into Identities franchise opportunities from 2013.
