Change
Change can be a scary thing when all around you is safe and comfortable, especially if the oncoming change hasn’t been initiated by you and has followed a particularly traumatic event.
It can be hard not knowing what the future will bring and how it will look.
And it can be hard to picture the scene of you happy, content and confident on a new path, in a newly shaped future that started with these initial thoughts of change.
Change is etched into the flow of life. It is the seasons moving from one to the other; it is a new life cycle in every living thing on earth and it is the songs of a bird as it renews its repertoire over and over again.
Periods of Change for me include my growth thresholds that kick in every few years or so when my old and lovely, but strict school teacher comes back to push me out of my comfort zone and urges me to reach for what I yearn for and believe in.
From the minute you acknowledge that change is inevitable you will start to live in the moment.
When you start to live in the moment, small actions will follow that will make change work for you.
And soon you will be celebrating the joys of your new direction and living your life like you were always meant to live it.
